Mopping the tile floor with vinegar
When you start cleaning your floor with vinegar, first fill a bucket full of warm or hot water, however, for most of the tile floors one or two gallons of water is sufficient. If you are going to clean a large area, increase the water level. Warm water will do better cleaning as it will loosen the stuck dirt and stain on the floor.
Before cleaning, always remove the furniture, appliances and additional movable objects from the room. Add a couple of cups of white vinegar with the warm water or use ½ cup of vinegar for one gallon of water. Mix the vinegar solution because vinegar is acidic little so mix it properly as it is dissolved in water properly. Apple cider vinegar is the best choice as it is really powerful and cleans the Tile floors and grout clearly.
Start mopping the tiles
After mixing the solution, start mopping the floor with vinegar solution across the tiles, mop the tiles side to side and all the corners and in criss-cross direction. Properly mop all the spots of the room to get perfect cleaning. Do not forget to clean under the furniture and baseboard spots. After mopping you must notice the best results and do not soak the wood bordering and tile floors with vinegar.
Rinse the floor with clean and fresh water
Now empty the previously used bucket and fill it with clean and fresh water, get back to the Tile floor once again. Wring the rewet the mop on every step. This will clear the residue and the traces of the vinegar. Now soak the remaining water using an absorbent towel, now allow the area to dry completely. Do not skip this step of cleaning with fresh water as the dingy water will get dry and leave the streaks on the floor. Make sure the grout to dry properly for preventing the excess growth of mildew. Which is caused due to warm and moist spaces between the grout, try to clean the tile floors frequently to avoid more dirt and mildew surfaces.
